The Alhambra Youth Film Fest (AYFF) is a ministry of ATLPC, a student-short film festival.  Inspiring the youth, grades 12th and under to have a more direct impact in their local church by creating short stories that may be viewed in their church sermons, Sunday schools, and youth gatherings. Empowering them by bringing their films to the cinema at the AYFF Festival. Hosted by Alhambra True Light Presbyterian Church in conjunction with local church's in the Alhambra area.

About Us

Friends, Film Makers, and Film Watchers

The Alhambra Youth Film Fest (AYFF) is a ministry of ATLPC, a student-short film festival.  This is our first year, Students are 12th grade and under and may attend a series of workshops given by industry persons in their related fields. They will produce shorts that will be shown at the film fest. Shorts will be rendered in a theater format for viewing at a local theater. This years Alhambra Youth Film Fest (AYFF) is set for August 22, 2009 for a matinee showing [approx. 10am-1pm].

The host is the Outreach committee /Alhambra Youth Film Fest committee, through Alhambra True Light Presbyterian Church [in conjunction with many other local church's in the Alhambra area]. Alhambra True Light Presbyterian Church is located at 20 W. Commonwealth Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801.

Vision

To inspire youth, by giving them a voice through film and video in their local community’s.

Mission

Inspiring the youth, grades 12th and under to potentially have a more directed impact first in there local church by creating short stories from there viewpoint that may be viewed in their church activates. Further empowering them by bring their film/videos to the cinema at the Alhambra Youth Film Fest, True Light Awards. Then, presenting them on the Web for peer-to-peer viewing in churches, and other youth gatherings around the world.
